Can I upload my documents as photos taken with my phone?

What are the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) and Erasmus+ Without Paper (EWP)?

OLA is an abbreviation for Online Learning Agreement. EWP, on the other hand, is a comprehensive system that helps higher education institutions conduct Erasmus+ processes digitally through the Erasmus Without Paper infrastructure. The method used may vary depending on the system integration of the partner institution and the university.

How many ECTS credits should I take during my learning mobility program?

According to Article 25/1 of the Sivas Cumhuriyet University Associate and Undergraduate Education, Teaching and Examination Regulations, the course load for a semester in long-term learning mobility cannot be less than 30 ECTS credits. In accordance with the Higher Education Council's Bologna Framework, ECHE compliance rules, and the internal regulations of the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, a semester must consist of exactly 30 ECTS credits. The total credits for courses taken and recognized at both the sending (home) and receiving (host) higher education institutions must be 30 ECTS for each university. The academic suitability and recognition method of the courses must be determined on the Learning Agreement prior to the mobility.

Do I have to find the exact same courses at the other university as the ones in my department?

A one-to-one course name match is not always possible. The key is for a suitable course plan, in terms of learning outcomes and academic program, to be approved by the relevant academic coordinator and for the recognition plan to be determined prior to the mobility period.

Can I change my courses during my mobility period?

Course changes may be made if necessary. Changes must be updated on the Academic Approval Form and Learning Agreement within the relevant timeframes, and approvals from all relevant parties must be completed.

What happens if I fail a course at the other university?

Failure to attend classes will be assessed in terms of academic recognition and Erasmus+ obligations. Students are expected to attend classes, take exams, and fulfill academic obligations as defined in the learning agreement during their mobility period. Absences and course failures may result in a reduction or reimbursement of the student's grant, as specified in the grant agreement.

Can I extend my study mobility period?

Extension is not an automatic right. It requires approval from the partner institution, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, and the relevant academic units, provided that the project duration, quota, grant, and academic calendar conditions are suitable. The request should be made as early as possible; however, submitting a request does not imply acceptance of the extension. Can I end my mobility program earlier than planned?

If an early return is necessary due to a compelling or justifiable reason, the situation must be reported to the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator without delay. The duration of the activity, grant, and academic processes will be re-evaluated according to the relevant rules. Long-term student mobility must be a minimum of 60 days, and short-term student mobility a minimum of 5 days. If the mobility period falls below these limits, and unless there is a force majeure event, the mobility will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. The acceptance of force majeure is at the discretion of the Coordinator.

What is a Transcript of Records (ToR)?
