International Network
What is ESN?
The Erasmus Student Network is one of the largest student networks providing support to international students.
Erasmus Student Network
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organization. Its mission is to represent international students and provide opportunities for cultural understanding and personal development under the principle of "students helping students".
ESN is one of the largest student societies in Europe. It was founded on October 16, 1989, and legally registered in 1990 with the aim of supporting and developing student exchanges.
The network operates in over 1,000 higher education institutions in more than 40 countries. It is constantly developing and expanding. ESN has approximately 15,000 active members through local branches supported by volunteers called ’buddies,’ the majority of whom work with international students. In this way, approximately 40,000 young people are part of this network, serving around 350,000 international students each year.

ESN Türkiye
ESN Türkiye is a volunteer student network that aims to support international exchange students in Türkiye.
Erasmus Student Network Turkey (ESN Turkey), as part of Erasmus Student Network (ESN), one of Europe's largest student organizations, is a volunteer student network aiming to support students participating in international exchange programs in Türkiye. Founded in 2005, ESN Turkey operates through local ESN communities located in many universities across the country. This network organizes various events, orientation programs, cultural trips, social responsibility projects, and awareness campaigns to facilitate the social, cultural, and academic adaptation processes of exchange students coming to Türkiye and going abroad.
ESN Turkey, working closely with other ESN structures operating in Europe, contributes to young people's ability to engage in intercultural interaction, develop active citizenship skills, and embrace European values. Organizing hundreds of events annually through thousands of volunteers, ESN Turkey operates under the motto "Students Helping Students," emphasizing that the exchange experience is not only an academic but also a social development process. Its volunteer-based structure also allows young people to develop their leadership, communication, and organizational skills. ESN Turkey continues to represent Türkiye's youth and contribute to the internationalization process both nationally and internationally.

ESN Cumhuriyet
ESN Cumhuriyet operates within the Cumhuriyet Erasmus Club Community.
ESN Cumhuriyet, initially established as the English Language and Literature Club of Sivas Cumhuriyet University, began its activities as a candidate branch of ESN Türkiye in the Spring Semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. In the Fall Semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, the branch continued its activities by establishing the Cumhuriyet Erasmus Club and attained full branch status. Since that time, ESN Cumhuriyet has been supported by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office of the International Relations Office of Sivas Cumhuriyet University and operates within the Cumhuriyet Erasmus Club, under the academic guidance of Lecturer Murat Ercan.

ESNcard is a membership card for the Erasmus Student Network.
The ESNcard is a membership card of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). It gives you access to all services offered by ESN and all our partners. The purpose of the ESNcard, or ESN membership, is to support international students and trainees and to provide them with access to affordable opportunities during their time abroad.
With the ESNcard, you can enjoy numerous discounts throughout Europe on accommodation, sports, dining, bars, and more. Furthermore, during your membership, you'll have the opportunity to participate in hundreds of events at your local ESN branch, other branches in the country where you're doing your mobility, and even beyond. You can contact us to obtain an ESNcard from our branch (stocks are limited).
