What should the department coordinator check in the Learning Agreement (LA – OLA)?
The coordinator should check the academic compatibility of the selected courses with the student's program, the credit load, the recognition plan, and the academic justification for any changes made during the mobility period.
Does the Unit/Department Coordinator handle the student nomination process themselves?
The nomination process may vary depending on the project and institutional workflow. The formal nomination of a student to the partner institution must be carried out within the institutional process determined by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator; independent nominations via personal email should not be processed. All nomination processes are handled centrally by the Coordinator.
Can I extend my study mobility period?
Extension is not an automatic right. It requires approval from the partner institution, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, and the relevant academic units, provided that the project duration, quota, grant, and academic calendar conditions are suitable. The request should be made as early as possible; however, submitting a request does not imply acceptance of the extension. Extensions are generally not implemented by our Coordination Office in order to provide equal opportunities to all candidates. If an extension is implemented, the relevant participants will be notified.
Can I apply for two different types of student mobility programs at the same time?
Applications can be submitted for multiple mobility types simultaneously, but prioritization and point deduction rules will be applied, so the evaluation criteria in the announcement should be carefully reviewed before applying.
Does being selected for the Erasmus+ Student Mobility program mean I've been accepted to the host university?
No. Being accepted to our university does not negate the application and admission process of the other university. The other institution will review the necessary documents and complete the admission process separately. The other institution reserves the right to reject the student without giving any reason. In this case, the candidate cannot claim any rights from our Coordination Office.
