What is EuroDesk?
Eurodesk is a youth information network that facilitates young people's access to European opportunities.
Eurodesk is a European youth information network established in 1990. As an organization supporting Erasmus+, Eurodesk makes information about learning mobility comprehensive and accessible for young people and those working with them.
With a network of 38 Eurodesk Centres connected to local information providers in 36 European countries, Eurodesk raises awareness of European opportunities and encourages young people to become active citizens. Eurodesk connects more than 3,000 ’contact points and ambassadors“—regional or local organisations that work with young people, provide youth information and advise young people on mobility opportunities.
Eurodesk provides its members with quality training and support, as well as access to youth information services and tools, to ensure quality of service in all 36 countries.
About Eurodesk
The Eurodesk network consists of an executive board, a Brussels liaison office, national coordination offices, and contact points.
Executive Board
Eurodesk is governed by an Executive Board (EEC) consisting of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 members, one of whom is the Chairperson. The EEC is the network's governing body, empowered to plan the direction the organization should take and the activities and campaigns it should carry out at both European and national levels.
EEC members also play a role in establishing partnerships with other organisations when it benefits Eurodesk.

Eurodesk Brussels Link (EBL) is the coordinating body of the network and also the governing body of the Eurodesk brand. Its role is to support the implementation of Eurodesk's mission in different countries and to facilitate communication, both internally and with the public, about ongoing projects.
Therefore, EBL regularly publishes publications and subsequently launches and coordinates European-level campaigns and activities carried out in 36 Eurodesk countries. EBL also provides Eurodesk staff in various countries with firsthand European knowledge and training on youth mobility, information management, quality assessment, and communication tools.
EBL assists the European Commission in the development and maintenance of the European Youth Portal, in the regular updating of European content, in the evaluation of the quality of Eurodesk national centres and in providing them with technical support.

There are 39 Eurodesk national coordination offices (3 in Belgium), and the national coordinators work together to fulfill Eurodesk's mission at the national level. The national coordinators provide support to multipliers in organizing their events and also share youth information with them. At the national level, the coordinators manage the European Youth Portal and organize national events and campaigns.
National coordinators publish publications and communication materials when appropriate. Some national coordinators regularly communicate with young people through events, others do not. This depends on the national structure they work within. In any case, national coordinators answer questions from young people within the same country.

There are over 1155 Eurodesk Multipliers and over 1858 Eurodesk Ambassadors in 36 European countries. Multipliers are local organizations (e.g., youth centers, associations, municipalities), but despite their diversity, their core mission remains the same. As one of the most important tasks of the structure, Multipliers maintain face-to-face contact with young people through the events and campaigns they organize. Multipliers are the organ within the system that ensures that mobility information collected in the network reaches young people who receive youth information and counseling according to their personal profiles through the work of the Multipliers.
