What is the Erasmus Policy Statement?
The Erasmus Policy Statement is the key policy document that explains how a higher education institution links its participation in the Erasmus+ Programme to its institutional internationalization strategy and the objectives for which it will implement program activities.
Sivas Cumhuriyet University views the Erasmus+ Program not merely as an exchange tool facilitating student and staff mobility, but as an institutional internationalization mechanism used to improve the quality of education, strengthen international academic networks, increase research capacity, and support a multicultural campus environment.
The Erasmus Policy Statement is implemented in line with the University's strategic plan, internationalization policy, approach to the Bologna Process, quality objectives in education and research, and regional and global cooperation priorities.
The fundamental approach of the policy is that of the University “"From Tradition to the Future"” In line with this understanding, the goal is to integrate historical and cultural heritage with contemporary education, science, technology, and international cooperation opportunities.

Project codes such as KA101, KA103, KA107, KA108, and KA347 included in EPS applications reflect the coding of the program period in which the application was prepared. Current practices are carried out in accordance with the current Erasmus+ Program Guide and relevant call rules.
