What is a Diploma Supplement?

The Diploma Supplement is a standard document that complements a higher education diploma and facilitates its understanding at national and international levels.

The Diploma Supplement provides detailed information about the quality, level, content, scope, and academic outcomes of the graduate's higher education qualifications. This allows higher education institutions, public institutions, and employers in different countries to more easily assess the graduate's competence.

Making the Erasmus+ Experience Visible

One of the main aims of Erasmus+ learning and traineeship mobility programs is the academic recognition of learning outcomes achieved abroad. Once the recognition process is complete, the mobility becomes part of the student's academic record.

At the graduation stage, the Diploma Supplement is an important tool in making visible the academic activities completed and recognized under Erasmus+, as it helps the student's academic background to be understood on an international scale.

  • Courses and credits recognized in Erasmus+ learning mobility are transferred to academic records.
  • Erasmus+ traineeship mobility is reflected in the records according to the type of traineeship and the form of academic recognition.
  • Information regarding whether the mobility was carried out under the Erasmus+ program is included in the Diploma Supplement.
