Institutional Coordination for Internationalization
Our coordination office offers our students and staff opportunities to study, train, intern, receive education and teach abroad through grants funded by the European Commission and the Turkish National Agency.
Academic and Personal Development
Erasmus+ opportunities aim to enable participants to experience different cultures, support their academic and personal development, and enhance their knowledge and skills on a global scale.
International Collaborations
To enhance our university's global recognition, we are establishing and maintaining international collaborations and developing partnerships with universities in different parts of the world.

Corporate Development Process
The International Relations Office has been restructured institutionally over time in line with our university's international programs and mobility processes.
External Relations Unit
The "Rectorate External Relations Unit" was established by the decision of the Cumhuriyet University Senate dated 11.06.2003 and numbered 4, with the aim of carrying out the function of "Institutional Contact Point" for the European Union Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and promoting and coordinating programs such as Socrates and Erasmus.
Erasmus University Charter
Cumhuriyet University applied for the Erasmus University Charter on October 30, 2003, and was among the higher education institutions that were awarded the Erasmus University Charter on May 17, 2004.
Coordination Office for National and International Relations Units
With the directive adopted on 23.07.2014, the working methods and bodies related to Farabi, Mevlana, Erasmus+, Bologna and other national/international programs were determined; the relevant activities were organized under the coordination structure.
Restructuring as the Office of International Relations
The unit's name was updated to the International Relations Office by a decision of the Sivas Cumhuriyet University Senate dated August 1, 2018. The office continues its activities by housing the Erasmus+, Bologna, Mevlana, and Farabi Institutional Coordinators.
The International Student Coordination Office is a separate unit and does not operate within the International Relations Office.
Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office
The International Relations Office is the unit that coordinates the international relations and mobility programs of Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

For the past 15 years, our university has been carrying out Erasmus+ mobility programs with numerous countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

European Union Education and Youth Programs Center Presidency
The Turkish National Agency is the organization responsible for the implementation of European Union education and youth programs such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Program in our country.
Turkey began benefiting from community programs with the start of its candidacy process for the European Union at the 1999 Helsinki Summit. In January 2002, the Directorate of European Union Education and Youth Programs was established within the State Planning Organization to carry out the function of a "National Agency" in Turkey.
The Presidency of the European Union Education and Youth Programs Centre was established as a legal entity with administrative and financial autonomy through a regulation published in the Official Gazette on August 6, 2003. Since 2018, it has been operating as an affiliated organization of the Presidency of European Union Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
