REPORTING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY BE ENCOUNTERED DURING THE E-GOVERNMENT APPLICATION PROCESS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • To be a full-time student at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in one of the following programs: associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctorate, or medical specialization.
  • For associate and undergraduate students, a minimum GPA of 2.20 is required; for master's and doctoral students, a minimum GPA of 2.50 is required.
  • SCU International Relations Office: Having a valid score on the Foreign Language Exam or a foreign language exam accepted by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) or obtaining a passing score on the foreign language exam to be held on May 14, 2022.
  • Medical and dental residency students must submit their TUS and DUS Central Examination Result Certificates.
  • If the student has previously benefited from activities within their current level of education, the total duration of the new activity, together with the previous one, should not exceed 12 months.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Genel Not Ortalamasının %50’si ve Yabancı Dil Puanının %50’si alınarak Erasmus+ Genel Başarı Puanı (100 üzerinden) belirlenecektir.
  • To be eligible for mobility, a minimum score of 50 on a foreign language exam (SCU International Relations Office Foreign Language Exam or a foreign language exam recognized by ÖSYM) is required. The SCU International Relations Office Foreign Language Exam is valid for 2 years.
  • The passing score for the English exam is 70 for English Language and Literature and English Teaching students; 65 for Translation and Interpreting students; 60 for German Language and Literature and French Language and Literature students; and 50 for students in other departments.
  • Relatives of martyrs and veterans (if documented) receive +15 points.,
  • Students with disabilities (provided their disability is documented) will receive +10 points. (Additional grant opportunities are available for students with disabilities.)
  • -10 points for each Erasmus+ mobility activity previously undertaken.,
  • Those participating in mobility activities in their country of citizenship will receive -10 points.,
  • Those who qualify for Erasmus+ mobility but waive their right outside of the specified waiver periods will be penalized with -10 points.
  • Applying for two types of mobility (study or traineeship) simultaneously (a reduction will be applied to the second type of mobility preferred by the student) -10 points.,
  • Every student who meets the selection criteria can benefit from the mobility program without a grant.
QUOTAS: Education Internship

  • Students in the English Language and Literature, Translation and Interpreting, and English Teaching departments will not be able to apply for study mobility due to departmental quotas being full; students in these departments can only apply for internship mobility.
  • Quota allocations will be determined based on the number of agreements between the relevant units, the average number of applications, and their past Erasmus+ mobility performance.

  • Study mobility will be funded for 2-10 months, while traineeship mobility will last for 2-6 months.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Applications will be accepted online through the Digital Türkiye Portal (e-Government Portal). You can access the relevant service via this link: https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/abevgpm-erasmus-ve-esc-basvurulari.
  • The document showing the result of the foreign language exam must be submitted with the online application and uploaded to the application screen. (Foreign language exams accepted by ÖSYM and foreign language exam results conducted by the Erasmus Office in 2020 and 2021 can be used in the application.)
  • Students without a foreign language proficiency score can still apply for Erasmus, and an English exam will be held for these students on May 14, 2022..(Exam location and time will be announced after applications are completed.)
  • Those taking the exam do not need to make a separate application. Clicking the "I don't have an exam score" button on the Digital Türkiye application and completing the application will be sufficient for exam application.

IMPORTANT DATES:

25.04.2022 (00.00) – 09.05.2022 (23.59) – Online application period

14.05.2022 – Foreign Language (English) Exam

20.05.2022 – The date when placement results and foreign language exam results will be announced

27.05.2022 (17.00) – The deadline for a student who has been selected but decides not to participate in the mobility program to submit their withdrawal letter to the office.

27.05.2022 (17.00) – Deadline for submitting the participation declaration.

31.08.2022 (17.00) – The student who is eligible for internship mobility invitation letter Deadline for submitting to the office (If the invitation letter is not submitted by the specified date, the prospective student will lose their right to attend.)

31.05.2023 – The latest date by which the mobility must be completed.
