Diploma Supplement
The Diploma Supplement is a graduation certificate that provides graduates of higher education with standardized and comparable information about the level, content, academic results, and standing of their qualifications within the Turkish higher education system.
What is a Diploma Supplement?
The Diploma Supplement is a standard document that complements a higher education diploma and facilitates its understanding at national and international levels.
The Diploma Supplement provides detailed information about the quality, level, content, scope, and academic outcomes of the graduate's higher education qualifications. This allows higher education institutions, public institutions, and employers in different countries to more easily assess the graduate's competence.
The document is prepared in line with common standards developed by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO, and is one of the tools for transparency and recognition in the European Higher Education Area.
Students who successfully complete their program at Sivas Cumhuriyet University and are entitled to receive a diploma will be issued a Diploma Supplement along with their diploma.
Important: The Diploma Supplement is not a separate diploma replacing the diploma itself, and it is not a document that automatically provides academic or professional equivalency. It is a supplementary document used in conjunction with the diploma.
