Inclusion and Diversity Strategy

  • Develop and implement mandatory diversity and inclusion training for all staff and faculty members.
  • Create and support affinity groups, such as student clubs, for underrepresented groups on campus.
  • Develop and offer cultural competency and sensitivity training for all students.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to address discrimination and bias.
  • Create a system for reporting and addressing incidents of discrimination, bias, and harassment.
  • Organize regular meetings with CENGEL to be aware of the problems faced by students and staff with disabilities
  • Foster a campus culture that values and promotes diversity and inclusion through education, programming, and events.
  • Partner with community organizations to provide educational and job opportunities for underrepresented groups.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the diversity and inclusion strategy on a regular basis, and make adjustments as necessary.
