Student learning mobility activities are carried out within the framework of existing inter-institutional agreements between ECHE and the higher education institution.

The activity consists of a student enrolled in a higher education institution completing part of their studies at a foreign higher education institution with which an inter-institutional agreement has been established.

The duration of the program can range from 2 to 12 months (1, 2, or, depending on the system of some countries, 3 semesters), applicable separately for each level of study. The levels of study refer to associate/bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.

The activity can be carried out in any class during the study period. The higher education institution's senior management may decide that first-year students can participate in mobility programs starting as early as the second year.

Students participating in the program must be enrolled in a degree program at a higher education institution. Students are expected to be sent abroad to complete the studies required for their diploma/degree, following a program equivalent to 60 ECTS credits for a full academic year; 30 ECTS credits for one semester in a two-semester academic year; and 20 ECTS credits for one semester in a three-semester academic year. Full academic recognition is granted for credits successfully completed in the program. Credits not successfully completed must be retaken at the host institution.

Student Traineeship Mobility is an activity where a student enrolled in a higher education institution undertakes an internship abroad in a company, research institute, laboratory, or other institution or organization related to their academic field of study. Attending classes at the higher education institution is not considered an internship.

The duration of the internship is between 2 and 12 months, applicable separately for each level of education. Internships can be undertaken in any class during the academic year, and for students in their final year of study, within 12 months after graduation. For post-graduation internships, the application must be submitted before the student graduates (while they are still enrolled in associate's, bachelor's, or graduate programs). Graduated students cannot apply.

Post-graduation internship mobility must be completed within 12 months of the graduation date. For recent graduates who are called up for military service during this period, their military service time is added to this maximum 12-month period. The total duration of the post-graduation internship and other mobility activities at the same level should not exceed 12 months.

Higher education institutions may choose to opt out of postgraduate internship programs. Institutions choosing to exclude postgraduate internships must make a management decision to this effect at the beginning of the relevant application year and inform students of this decision. If such a decision is not made or announced to students at the beginning of the application year, the option of excluding postgraduate internships cannot be implemented.

Examples of Suitable Internship Placements:

Any public or private sector organization located in one of the countries where internships can be carried out, and operating in the labor market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research and development, can be considered a suitable internship location. While not exhaustive, the following organizations can be considered examples of suitable internship locations:

• small, medium or large-scale businesses owned by the public or private sector
• local, regional or national public institutions
• embassies or consulates of the sending country abroad
• chambers of commerce, trade associations, stock exchanges, and trade unions – all kinds of business-related organizations/associations
• research institutes
• foundations
• school/institute/training center (can be any type of educational institution from pre-school to high school, including vocational training or adult education)
• non-profit organizations, associations, NGOs
• Organizations that offer career planning, professional counseling and information services
• Higher education institutions (Higher education institutions located in countries associated with the Programme must hold an ECHE; higher education institutions in countries not associated with the Programme must be recognized by a competent authority in accordance with their national legislation and have signed a bilateral inter-institutional agreement with the sending institution prior to the traineeship activity)

The following organizations are not eligible for higher education traineeship activities under Erasmus+:

• European Union institutions and EU agencies (see. https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/institutions-bodies_en)
• National agencies and similar organizations that run EU programs.

• Being an associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student at Sivas Cumhuriyet University,
• For associate and undergraduate students, at least 2.20; at least for master's and doctoral degrees 2.50 Having a GPA,
• To be eligible, candidates must have obtained a valid score on the Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office Foreign Language Exam or any of the Foreign Language Exams conducted by ÖSYM (YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL, KPDS, ÜDS) or any of the international foreign language exams deemed equivalent to these exams as specified in the ÖSYM International Foreign Language Exam Equivalency Document.,
• Medical and dental residency students cannot apply to student announcements because their student records are not found in YÖKSİS (Higher Education Information System).
• If the student has previously benefited from activities within their current level of study (associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, or doctorate), the total duration of the new activity, together with the previous one, should not exceed 12 months.

• Since student information is retrieved from YÖKSİS, a student certificate is not required.
• Since the GPA information is retrieved from YÖKSİS, a transcript is not required.
• Foreign students who are recipients of the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) Turkey Scholarships program must submit a letter stating that they are aware that they will not receive their YTB scholarship during the Erasmus+ mobility period if they are selected for the program.
• The acceptance letter provides an advantage when submitted during the application process for student traineeship mobility. This is not the case for student study mobility. Submitting the acceptance letter is optional.
• If the applicant is selected to participate in the mobility program, they must upload all mobility documents to the Erasmus+ Application Portal.

2. Candidates may appeal the evaluation results within 7 days of the announcement of the results. Appeals will be accepted online only. Appeals will not be accepted in person. Details regarding the submission of appeals will be announced later.
3. Participants must submit a declaration of participation stating that they will undertake the mobility programs they have been awarded under Erasmus+, or a waiver letter indicating their desire to withdraw from these programs. These documents must be submitted within 7 days of the announcement of the results. Candidates who fail to submit their documents within the specified time will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Presidency of the European Union Education and Youth Programs Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (Turkish National Agency), the Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office Directive, and the Erasmus Program Directive.

• If an applicant is awarded the Student Learning Mobility program and the language of the foreign language exam they took is not one of the languages of instruction specified in the inter-institutional agreement with the relevant university, the applicant will not be accepted to their preferred university.

The evaluation criteria have been determined by our coordination office as follows, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Presidency of the European Union Education and Youth Programs Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (Turkish National Agency), the Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office Directive, and the Erasmus Program Directive.

1. The overall grade point average and language score are calculated out of 100 points.
2. The YÖK Grade Conversion Table is used to convert grades from the 4-point system to the 100-point system.
3. Since the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is automatically retrieved from YÖKSİS during the application process, there is no obligation to upload a transcript. The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of the data in YÖKSİS. If the data is outdated, it must be updated by the relevant unit. In case of discrepancies between the University Information System and YÖKSİS data, the YÖKSİS data will prevail. If the YÖKSİS data cannot be updated, the CGPA from a scanned transcript with a wet signature and seal obtained from the relevant unit will be used as the basis for the CGPA. In this case, the applicant must inform the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator. If the CGPA has not yet been determined, the provisions of the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Presidency of the European Union Education and Youth Programs Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (Turkish National Agency) will apply.
4. To be eligible for mobility, you must obtain a minimum score of 50 on a foreign language exam (SCU International Relations Office Foreign Language Exam or other foreign language exams recognized by ÖSYM). 6. For priority consideration, the student must submit a Disability Health Board report as specified in the "Regulation on Disability Assessment for Adults," published in the Official Gazette dated February 20, 2019, and numbered 30692. Additional grant opportunities are available for disabled students.
7. Internships involving one or more of the following activities are eligible: digital marketing (e.g., social media management, web analytics), digital graphics, mechanical and architectural design; application, software and code or website development; installation, maintenance and management of information systems and networks, cybersecurity, data analytics, data mining and visualization; programming, robotics and artificial intelligence training. General customer service, request generation, data entry or routine office tasks are not included. Documentation that the mobility is within the scope of the DoT (Domestic Technology) program is required.
8. Every student who meets the selection criteria can benefit from the mobility program without a grant.
9. War veterans and their spouses and children, as well as the spouses and children of war martyrs, and, according to Article 21 of the Law No. 3713 on Combating Terrorism dated 12/4/1991, the spouses and children of "public officials who were injured, disabled, died, or killed as a result of terrorist acts while performing their duties domestically or abroad, or even if their official capacity has ceased to exist," and, in accordance with Article 7 of the Decree Law No. 667 dated 23 July 2016, the spouses and children of those who lost their lives or became disabled as a result of the coup attempt and terrorist act of July 15, 2016, and subsequent acts of a similar nature, and their spouses and children, will be given priority when applying for Erasmus+ student mobility. This status must be documented with a martyr/veteran certificate and a current Population Registration Certificate (Family Population) obtained from the Digital Türkiye Portal (e-Government Portal).
10. For priority consideration, the student must submit a document from the Ministry of Family and Social Policies stating that they have a protection, care, or shelter order in accordance with Law No. 2828. This situation must be documented with certificates obtained from the relevant authorities.
11. The mobility date specified in the acceptance letter must be a date between the announcement results date and the final mobility date. The letter must include the name of the relevant institution, its detailed information, stamp and signature, the mobility date, and the name and personal information of the invited person.

The evaluation will be conducted transparently and objectively by a selection committee appointed by the Rectorate of Sivas Cumhuriyet University, in accordance with the Erasmus+ Handbook for Higher Education Institutions published by the Presidency of the European Union Education and Youth Programs Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (Turkish National Agency), the Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office Directive, and the Erasmus Program Directive. • Traineeship mobility will be funded for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 months. KA171 announcements specify traineeship mobility as 75 days. The mobility period cannot extend beyond the final mobility date.

To evaluate your Erasmus+ application, you need to determine your language level. The International Relations Office conducts a Foreign Language Exam for this purpose. Participation in this exam is free. The language exam for the announcement titled “ERASMUS+ STUDENT MOBILITY ANNOUNCEMENT (2022, 2023 KA131)” on February 25, 2023, is also valid for this announcement. Foreign Language Exams conducted by ÖSYM (YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL, KPDS, ÜDS) and international foreign language exams deemed equivalent to these exams as stated in the ÖSYM International Foreign Language Exam Equivalencies Document are also valid. According to the agreement with the partner institutions involved in the project, only the departments listed in the table below can benefit from the mobility program.
