[BG BLAGOEV02] Invitation to the 2nd International Staff Week at South-West University “Neofit Rilski” – Building a Greener Erasmus

Dear friends and colleagues from Sivas Cumhuriyet Universitesi,We are delighted to invite you to the Second International Staff Week, which will be held from 14th – 18th October 2024, at South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Attached is the official invitation. Thank you very much in advance for distributing it among your academic and non-academic staff.As Erasmus Without Paper Champions (EWP) for Bulgaria, our 2024 Staff Week is dedicated to advancing sustainability and promoting Green and EWP initiatives.
Together, we will explore strategies that drive our institutions and academic communities toward a more sustainable campus environment.This year, our focus will be on collaborative efforts among higher education institutions to lead long-term initiatives such as Green Erasmus, Carbon Offsetting for Mobility Programs, and creating eco-friendly campus environments. The event is suitable for both academic and non-academic staff.

Participation Fee
A participation fee of 60 EUR is required at registration. This fee covers the welcome and farewell dinners, two excursions, museum entry fees, coffee breaks, and refreshments. Please note that travel, daily expenses, and accommodation are not included.

Venue

Most events will be held at our University Center “Bachinovo” (UCB), offering a conference-friendly atmosphere and various recreational activities such as SPA treatments, massages, a Finnish sauna, and a steam bath. The center provides 68 double rooms, 4 single rooms, 4 apartments, a modern restaurant with 150 seats, free Wi-Fi, and a beautiful alpine environment.

Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you prefer alternative accommodation, please consider hotels in the town center.

Please be advised that all the bookings will be on the basis of first come, first served.
Should you prefer other type of accommodation, please refer to some of the hotels in the town center.

Additionally, all of the selected participant will receive a survival guide before their arrival.
