Sivas Cumhuriyet University International Relations Office Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Unit has announced the Erasmus+ KA171 (Third Countries Not Related to the Programme) Student Learning and Traineeship Mobility program.<\/p>\n

Applications will be accepted between March 5, 2023 and March 19, 2023.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nStudent Learning Mobility Definition<\/span><\/i><\/summary>\n
\n
\n

Student learning mobility activities are carried out within the framework of existing inter-institutional agreements between ECHE and the higher education institution.<\/p>\n

The activity consists of a student enrolled in a higher education institution completing part of their studies at a foreign higher education institution with which an inter-institutional agreement has been established.<\/p>\n

The duration of the program can range from 2 to 12 months (1, 2, or, depending on the system of some countries, 3 semesters), applicable separately for each level of study. The levels of study refer to associate\/bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.<\/p>\n

The activity can be carried out in any class during the study period. The higher education institution's senior management may decide that first-year students can participate in mobility programs starting as early as the second year.<\/p>\n

Students participating in the program must be enrolled in a degree program at a higher education institution. Students are expected to be sent abroad to complete the studies required for their diploma\/degree, following a program equivalent to 60 ECTS credits for a full academic year; 30 ECTS credits for one semester in a two-semester academic year; and 20 ECTS credits for one semester in a three-semester academic year. Full academic recognition is granted for credits successfully completed in the program. Credits not successfully completed must be retaken at the host institution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n

\nStudent Traineeship Mobility Definition<\/span><\/i><\/summary>\n
\n
\n

Student Traineeship Mobility is an activity where a student enrolled in a higher education institution undertakes an internship abroad in a company, research institute, laboratory, or other institution or organization related to their academic field of study. Attending classes at the higher education institution is not considered an internship.<\/p>\n

The duration of the internship is between 2 and 12 months, applicable separately for each level of education. Internships can be undertaken in any class during the academic year, and for students in their final year of study, within 12 months after graduation. For post-graduation internships, the application must be submitted before the student graduates (while they are still enrolled in associate's, bachelor's, or graduate programs). Graduated students cannot apply.<\/p>\n

Post-graduation internship mobility must be completed within 12 months of the graduation date. For recent graduates who are called up for military service during this period, their military service time is added to this maximum 12-month period. The total duration of the post-graduation internship and other mobility activities at the same level should not exceed 12 months.<\/p>\n

Higher education institutions may choose to opt out of postgraduate internship programs. Institutions choosing to exclude postgraduate internships must make a management decision to this effect at the beginning of the relevant application year and inform students of this decision. If such a decision is not made or announced to students at the beginning of the application year, the option of excluding postgraduate internships cannot be implemented.<\/p>\n

Examples of Suitable Internship Placements: <\/b><\/h3>\n

Any public or private sector organization located in one of the countries where internships can be carried out, and operating in the labor market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research and development, can be considered a suitable internship location. While not exhaustive, the following organizations can be considered examples of suitable internship locations:<\/p>\n
