Visa requirements depend on the student\u2019s nationality and the duration of stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br><p data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"628\"><strong data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"431\">Students who are citizens of countries with a visa exemption agreement with T\u00fcrkiye<\/strong> may not need a visa for short-term stays. However, exemptions vary depending on nationality and the length of stay, so it is strongly advised to verify the specific conditions before travelling.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"896\"><strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"662\">Students who require a visa<\/strong> must apply for a <strong data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"696\">student visa<\/strong> at the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate in their home country prior to arrival. A letter of acceptance from Sivas Cumhuriyet University will be provided to support the visa application process.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"1191\">Regardless of visa requirements, <strong data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"999\">all incoming students are required to obtain a residence permit<\/strong> after arrival in T\u00fcrkiye if the planned stay exceeds the visa-free period or visa validity. The International Relations Office provides guidance on the residence permit application process.<\/p><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For detailed and up-to-date information, including whether you need a visa and the <strong data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1298\">e-Visa regulations<\/strong>, please visit the official website of the <strong data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1380\">Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mfa.gov.tr\/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-text=\"\"><br><br>Visa Information For Foreigners<br><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"residence-permit\"><br>Residence Permit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All Erasmus+ students who will stay in T\u00fcrkiye for more than their visa-free period or visa validity are required to apply for a <strong data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"268\">residence permit<\/strong>. The application must be completed <strong data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"338\">within three months of arrival<\/strong>, but it is strongly recommended that students start the process as soon as possible to avoid any administrative problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are made online through the official system of the <strong data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"589\">Directorate General of Migration Management (G\u00f6\u00e7 \u0130daresi Ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131)<\/strong>. After completing the online application, students must <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"695\">submit their documents to the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office<\/strong> at Sivas Cumhuriyet University.
